Our Mission Statement

Nestled in the soil of Churcampa up in the highest majestic cordilleras of  Peru, forged by unity and faith of its people, the Rosa Octávila Ramos Foundation was born of a deep and abiding love  for family, for community, and for the God who calls us to serve one another.

The foundation was established in loving memory of Teodomiro Ramos, a beloved son of Churcampa who dedicated his life to public service and served his city as a Major,  and Rosa Octávila Montoya de Ramos, a devoted educator who came to Churcampa with a heart full of purpose to teach, to uplift, and to serve. Together they built a life, raised a family, and although their journey eventually led them to the United States, they never left Churcampa behind. It remained forever in their hearts.

The Rosa Octávila Ramos  Foundation is a public  charitable organization dedicated to raising funds and mobilizing resources to support the underprivileged families and children of Churcampa and its surrounding communities. In partnership with the Catholic Parish of San Antonio de Padua, we strive to address  the most fundamental human needs through programs that provide  food ,shelter, medical care, and the dignity that every child of God deserves.

Our conviction is simple yet profound: true success is measured not by the lives we live , but by the legacy we leave. The seeds we plant today will grow into hope and opportunity for generations we might never have the opportunity of meeting.
